Thrithayam, a three day event dedicated to Guru AmmannurMadhava Chakyar, the exponent in Koodiyattam,the Sanskrit dance drama is to be held at Thrissur, Kerala from 13 June 2014 to 15 June 2014. The three day programme is organised by Madhava Mathrugramam, the foundation in memory of Guru Ammannur.
On 13th Friday, the function starts at 05.30 pm with a meet remembering the Guru. Followed by this, there will be a Chakyarkoothu pesentation by Pothiyil Ranjith Chakyar based on the story Gajendramoksham.
The second day will witness Koodiyattam by Sooraj Nambiar and Ammannur Rajaneesh Chakyar. They perform the stories on Gajendramoksham and Nishadacharitham respectively. On June 15th, the third and final day of the event showcase Seethaparithyagam (story) koodiyattam by Ammannur Rajaneesh Chakyar.
On all the three days the event starts at 05.30 pm at Thekke Madam Lakshmi Kalyana Mandapam at Pazhayanadakkavu in Thrissur District, Kerala.
