“Visesha Kala Poshakam Utsav” by Sri Sumukhi
Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation, an institution which aims at promoting Indian
art and culture. This festival of dance starts on 20th January 2014 (Monday)
and ends on 26th (Sunday) of the month. The venue of the festival will be the Mini
Hall of Narada Gana Sabha at Alwarpet of Chennai in Tamil Nadu State.

On 20 January 2014, the initial day of the festival
stages Bharathanatyam by Chinmaya Hedge and Kuchippudi by Anupama Bhushan from
Bangalore. On Tuesday, 21st of January, Ajay Shendge and Ipshita Rajesh will
perform Odissi and Bharathanatyam respectively. Mohiniyattam, the classical
dance of Kerala, will be presented on 22nd and 24th of this month. Rekha Raju
will perform on 2nd and Akhila Krishnan from Kerala on 24th. The bharathanatyam
dance performances are presented by Divya Ravi on 23rd and Uma Govind on 26th.
Abhinav Mukherjee from New Delhi will present Kathak on 23rd and Gaurav Swakul
o 26th. On 24th January 2014, there will be a performance of Vilasini Nirtham
by Pujita Krishna Jyothi. Sree Veena Mani fron New Delhi will present
Kuchippudi, the classical dance form on Saturday, 25th January 2014.
